THE SHADOW #4

Exactly who The Shadow might be – or who he once was – is the subject of some grim speculation by Taro Kondo and Buffalo Wong, but the answer may be closer than either suspects.

Meanwhile, Cranston and Margo come face to face with the full horror of the Japanese occupation… and on the River Yangtze, a deadly ambush awaits the unwary.

  1. Another great issue. I loved the panel with the Shadow overlooking the evil of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. The East Asian Co-Prosperty Sphere bit was funny.

The pull numbers seem very low for a Garth Ennis book. Don’t know why, I think he has an excellent handle on Cranston, and I like the relationship between he and Margo.

I also like the bad guys are very believable. This would read well as a trade, I hope maybe some readers are just trade waiting.
