  1. I miss Nicola. Still a great book though.

  2. Do we know if Nicola is ever going to come back? I miss her smokin’ Catman & Floyd with their bulging crotches and gratuitous ass shots.

  3. I’m not gonna name any comics specifically & risk fanboy-rage, but some of the titles that have way more pulls than this book amazes me. I thought people knew how good this book was?

  4. @garret I *think* Gail Simone said on twitter that Nicola probably wasn’t coming back.

  5. My impression is that DC finally realized what they had and is moving Nicola on to higher profile books. As awesome as the Secret Six are, it is fantasy to think it will ever be more than a second tier DC book, whether the iFanbase latches on to it or not.

  6. I loved this issue. I was afraid it would be another story of the Six fighting each other and then making up at the end. Glad to see Simone is taking it an entirely different direction. 5/5 POTW for me.

  7. @JimBilly – I think you hit the nail on the head.  Unfortunately my favorite team books – Secret Six and X-Factor – are both second tier books.  Still after a rocky start Calafiore has really grown on me.  This was my POTW over Unwritten.

  8. Loved the opening sequence. So damn tense. Not sure I bought into Deadshot’s little narrative monologue, but otherwise this was an exceelent issue.

  9. I totally expected Catman to cave in to the demands. Man was it a shock when he said what he did! Great writing. This book is a blast, I can’t believe more people don’t read it. Wish Simone were better on Wonder Woman, but she’s consistently awesome on this title.
