yea its pretty good not great, im on the fence to drop and wait for the trade, this is the start of new arc. I think it might read better in trade. Get superior foes Spencers best work at marvel.
I like it. I wasn’t going to pick it up initially because I didn’t need another Avengers book on my pull but I gave the first issue a shot and have been really enjoying it. I like Spencer as a writer and with this kind of thing, espionage, shady government stuff etc. I think he excels. Also the team is cool, hulk, hawkeye, mockingbird, black widow and winter soldier coming soon.

Not sure why this is labelled as an Avengers title, when it is really a Shield title. Marketing, I suppose (though I think it is a miscalculation to name everything under the sun the Avengers). I’m still kind of iffy on keeping this on my pull list, but I’m going to stick around for a bit at least to see whey they do with the winter soldier.
