  1. Next issue will be my last, finally going to drop it. It’s as if marvel doesn’t care about this book. The creators havn’t been able to tell their story, Ryan Stegman left and now Chris Yost is only going to be writing plots as of next issue with another guy writing scripts. It will never be as good as the first 6 issues.

    • I feel like you’re overreacting a little bit. The only news I found about the creator changes were specifically for issue #19. If the musical chairs situation becomes the norm, then it could be time to gripe.

Yost has written the book from the beginning and I’ve felt less editorial interference on SS than over on Venom which I dropped for that reason. There have been various artists on SS since Stegman and none have been as awesome as he was, but they’ve been good. Yost’s writing is what’s kept this title alive for me, but if he’s leaving altogether then I might be, too.

    • Don’t think i’m overreacting. Chris Yost’s dialogue was the best part because it was really funny. His plots are really weak though. On his twitter he seems to be saying this is a permenant change. I’ve been on the edge for ages and this is the straw that broke the camels back for me.

  2. I like his dialogue, too. I haven’t followed him on twitter, so that’s good info for me to know. I’ll wait and read an issue, but I’m also skeptical. I don’t mind dropping SS since I can always put that $ towards another series.
