  1. I have absolutely loved this series….I really want a Superior Spider-man/Scarlet Spider event.

    • Is Yost doing Avenging now? I thought he or Slott mentioned having some “big stuff” in store for readers this year. I’m thinking SS/AvSM/SSM crossover event.

  2. This book always has the best covers. Love it! For some reason it always feels like a long time between issues.

  3. That was an incredibly average issue, I hope it starts picking back up.

    • I had to drop the title after the Minimum Carnage event, when I dropped both SS and Venom for budgetary reasons. In fact, I dropped all Spider-titles, including Amazing/Superior as well as Avenging.

I’m hoping to hear good things, though, because I would love to continue following the title by reading library trades.

  4. This was awful. The epilogue made zero sense and didn’t get me excited at all. I’ve come this far so I don’t want to drop it now. Hopefully the next story arc is better.

  5. Hah ha, how funny. Just when all the little seeded plot elements are finally starting to pay off, move into main plot, and kick the major themes into high gear, people are commenting that they’re unhappy with the book.

Sorry, but I thought this was the best issue in a long time and I’m excited to find out Aracely’s true nature and what kind of apocalyptic event Kaine will be facing.

    • I didn’t like it because I didn’t like the art and didn’t like a quick mutation into monster form and then somehow ripping that form off. It seemed pretty goofy and not really all that necessary . Overall I still really like the book though, and was perfectly fine with the Arecely stuff.

I’m looking forward to the upcoming stuff, but I thought the last couple of issues were average at best, when I had really liked everything before it.
