Crap! I missed issue 1. Do I grab this one and hope I can find the first issue? Or do I just wait for the trade now? #comicnerdproblems
You don’t strictly need to get issue 1 as the stories aren’t connected. Unless you want it for collection’s sake, I’d just go ahead and pick this one up anyway.
More about completion than anything. I have the first series so I know how it works, but if I jump on now will I ever read issue 1? Of course if I don’t, I may just forget it altogether when the trade comes out… It probably all comes down to whether or not I remember when I go to the shop next week.
I say read this issue. It was pretty brilliant. All 3 stories were outstanding, writing and art wise. And like they said, it’s an anthology series so there is no continuity.
I thought this was fantastic, I really enjoyed every story but the last one “Autograph” in particular. I love these Rocketeer books!
