  1. Extremely solid art and story. I really hope these two work together more. I like a good crime story that doesn’t make me feel disgusted with myself for reading it.

  2. Nice to see a local (SF Bay Area) story. One comment I have is that the scene in issue number 4 of the Golden Gate bridge (or what it appears to be, since it is colored in a ruddy hue and has the distinct convex shape) was incorrect. As a bay area native, the view that Mr. Laming portrayed could only have been from Yerba Buena Island, which means it would have been from the bay bridge and not the GG. There’s no view from the GG where you’d have downtown SF located on the right side. Nice try but you can’t fool this MFer.

    It was a good story that had some complexity and insight into an interesting criminal element along with good character dev’t.
