    Great crime comic. I know it’s cliche to say “if you like Criminal, then check this out!” but it’s true. This has a lighter tone, the art is gorgeous with San Francisco as the backdrop to the story. I’m impressed enough that I want to go out and check out Gary Phillips’ novels, ironic if only because he was probably anticipating it working the other way around, getting novel readers to check out his comic.

    Totally loving this. only issue for me is that I forgot who all the figures were since the last issue. otherwise, absolutely love the art.
