  1. Last issue was the first time I really enjoyed this.  I hope that keeps happening.

  2. I’ve stuck with this because Conor has been so insistent on its quality.  Hope it delivers soon.

  3. The first four issues were AWESOME!

I dont know what the first two posters are on but I like Red Robin,

Tim Drake is on some grown man shit.  I like Ra’s and Tim the duo is dynamic.

  4. I’m really enjoying this series. I’m a sucker for Ra’s and Drake is just an awesome bonus.

  5. The decline of Batman & Robin has left this as my favorite Reborn series.

  6. I’m not like this as much as Conor and it is one of my least favorite of the new bat books, however, I still like it. I’m still on board and will pick it up this week.

  7. Not sure if I like this or Batgirl more now that B&R is going downhill.

  8. Over the years, I’ve read a lot of comics. But Tim Drake’s Robin title was the one I have read the longest (since the beginning.) Now that Tim Drake is a grown ass man and has his own identity, it has been even better. Tim Drake is one of the most tragic figures in all of comics. Adding Ra’s into the mix only makes this title better and will show what Tim Drake is really made of. I can’t wait to see where this book goes.

  9. What’s with all this B&R going downhill madness?  The writing quality is still there, it’s just the art that up for debate.

  10. @vadamowens: I thought that B&R last issue was as good as the previous ones and I hope it’s just a writinh "hiccup". The issue wasn’t bad just not as good.  Tan’s art is hit and miss for me.  His Jason Tood looks like shit but I thought his Damien looked good.

  11. I typically like Tan, but the art was definitely muddled on several panels last issue (B&R) for sure.

  12. Over the years, I’ve read a lot of comics. But Tim Drake’s Robin title was the one I have read the longest (since the beginning.) 13. I’m digging the cover, but Tim has some Popeye like forearms.

  14. This issue wasn’t in the same league as the previous 4 issues.  They need to get back to Bruce search.  Screw the Society of Spiders (or whatever) and the League of Assassins.  I hope we get some clues and/or interpretations of the cave paintings in the next few issues.

  15. Loved this issue. Tim Drake is basically an 18-year old Batman.

  16. I’m really liking this book, but I have no idea why.  I think I see a lot of potential storylines/moments in it.  For instance, Damian finding out Tim’s been training with his grandpa, while Dick is trying all he can to show Damian that Ra’s’s(?) way is wrong could prove to be interesting.

  17. Glad I didn’t drop this book. This was the best issue of the series (not that that’s saying a lot) so far. Really good issue.

  18. I was afraid this book was going to suffer from comparison with Adventure #3. It surprisingly held its own. This issue is a huge step foward in the momentum for this book.

  19. I wa really hoping that there would be more explored with the bat symbol on the wall in the cave.

  20. @mikeandzod21
I can only assume that that’s down the road for us.

I loved this issue and am loving this series. One question though: When Tim says, "I hope I see Conner" when he thinks he’s going to die, how does he mean that? Is he hoping he’ll make it for Adventure Comics #3? He just mentioned Superman; does he hope Superboy will save him? Or is he unaware that Conner is back and wants to see him in the afterlife? Either way, that mention of Superman and following up with a thought about Conner was fucking genius because it shows the fluidity of Tim’s thought process. He thinks of Superman, half-jokingly hoping he’ll save him if he yells loud enough, mentions that he’s the only person that knows Batman is alive (which reads to me like a stray thought) and then jumps from Superman to Superboy because that’s who he’s more connected with. Awesome and natural dialogue.

  21. I had heard this series was picking up, but I read #5 and thought it was just as overbearingly angst-ridden and mediocre as always. :/ When does the new artist start?

  22. It’s hard to care.
