  1. I think im going to give jms another chance with these one shots

  2. I’m really stuck on the fence with this book

  3. I put all four of these on my pull list without even reading the preview or even the solicits… this may bite me in the ass.

  4. Surprised there arent more pulls on this.

  5. I’m not. Pretty much nobody here read Trials of Shazam and JMS’ track record is kinda sketchy.

  6. I’m willing to give this a try.

  7. I’ll buy this after JMS finishes The Twelve. *not holding breath*

  8. I might try this out.  Not quite sure yet.

  9. I don’t really care about this character, but I thougut I’d jump into the RED CIRCLE thing in whole, as I’m super excited for THE SHIELD later. Hopefully the whole line will be excellent.

  10. Pretty good issue.

  11. This would’ve been better if the interior design of the character was more like the version on the cover, and less of a hulking brute… still, it was probably my second choice for POW (not saying much considering the week)

  12. Just this second read this and it was FANTASIC!!!!! I didn’t know what to expect at all, never heard of The Hangman and never read any J. Michael Straczynski.

I thought this was such a great story and paced really nicely, It just read great. Also, the art by Tom Derenick and Bill Sienkiewicz was so good, I thought it really worked with the writing.

I really hope more people pick this up.

    5/5

  13. Completely solid 3/5 book. This character actually seems pretty interesting, and I wanna find out the rest of the story, so I guess it accomplished what it needed to do.

  14. good story but weak art

  15. The Hangman was not nearly as interesting as any of the revived characters in the Twelve.

Except for Bill Sienkiewicz inking, this left me less than indifferent.  Civil war was the best part…the final character was just silly with that noose around his neck.

  16. meh
