  1. So the Inferno is a flaming (not in the campy way) gay man?

  2. I’m getting the paperback.  So when DC releases it, I’ll be back to comment!

  3. It’s like they have just given up trying to hide the homoeroticism of comics all of a sudden

  4. So, this is the Twelve, but this time for DC’s golden age heroes?

  5. @Spooky *NERDY CORRECTION FOLLOWS… BE WARNED!!!!*  That would be the ‘MLJ’ Golden Age heroes…. (GOD I CAN’T BELIEVE I DID THAT!).

  6. @Spooky- I liked issue #1 a lot, so hopefully this gets finished, unlike the Twelve.

  7. Not really interested in the character, but I’m checking out all of these just to see what they’re like. Hopefully this will be as good/better than the last.

  8. I felt pretty lost in this. It started out interestingly enough, and I do have some interest in the character now, but I think this was put together extremely poorly. 2/5.

  9. Was it just me, or did the characters change locations about 4 times with no explanation.  And why does Inferno turn into Gung Ho when he flames on?

  10. Loved The Hangman and I loved this book too. The art was sooo good and really liked the atmosphere of the book. I taking a chance on these Red Circle books having read no J. Michael Straczynski before, so far I have been rewarded, bring on The Web.

     4/5

  11. @shaunbat- JMS is one of my favourite writers & I’ve read every comic he’s done (literally) & enjoyed pretty much everything … but I really didn’t like this issue. I’m not sure how they can call this a "one-shot" when it was so related to the Hangman (??).

Anyways, hopefully the next issue is more like the Hangman ie: it doesn’t suck balls.

Also @shaunbat, check out Midnight Nation, Surpreme Power, Rising Stars & Thor if you want to see some of JMS best work.

  12. I didn’t know they were going to cross between oneshots.
