I love this book, but after the cancellation of Captain Britain for low sales I know it is only a matter of time. If we can get two trades worth I will count myself lucky.
I too love this book, but it does seem an odd one for DC to have released when they did. I know Cammy from the forums feel’s it’s a pointless book, so there you go.
Damn this book is good. It scares me that no trade has come out yet, as titles with super-late trades usually mean they’re getting the axe eventually. But, I also think that this opening story-arc is bigger than six issues, so here’s hoping that’s the case. That being said, I hope Didio takes mercy on this title the way he does Jonah Hex. It’s nice having a cosmic DC book that isn’t GL or GLC related, because as awesome as those are, there is an entire universe out there to explore character-wise. Plus, Bedard just seems to really be made to write this comic. I don’t think we’ll be seeing this one hit issue 50, plus let’s hope it can get to the high twenties or thirties. 🙂
Pointless how? Isn’t the point just to be entertaining? Anywho, I lovvvvvvve this book. The art is great (both artists have a very similar style, and they’re both awesome) and the story is entertaining and full of great characters. I try to talk this book up to everyone I can, I really don’t want it to wither away.
@CGPO not enough issues for the first trade yet, for sure.
