  1. Bye Garth it’s been great.

  2. Anyone staying on this series after this? Haven’t heard much about the guy after Garth.

  3. @comicdork37 – It’s a team of crime novelists after Ennis leaves.

    Here’s some info:

  4. I’m excited about Duane Swierczynski.  Force of Nature was great.  As long as the tone doesn’t change, I’ll keep buying it.

  5. @conor – is this book gonna get some love on the show now that Ennis is leaving?  What a great run he’s had.

  6. Ennis’s last issue! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is one of my favourite runs in comics ever! This is a sad week in comics.

I’m not sure if I’ll keep reading it.

  7. Nothing against the new writers, but I was never a Punisher fan pre-Ennis and I kind of feel like he’s said all there is to say between the series and The End and The Cell. I may put Frank to bed with this. I’ll likely give them a short leash (shorter if they don’t have decent artists involved).

  8. Although I have always been a fan of Punisher as a character since I was young (probably cuz he had guns) Ennis has been the only writer that has mad him interesting to me. I like the real world setting and especially enjoyed the craziness of his run with Dillon involving the Russian etc. This will probably be the end of Punisher for me; that is unless they put Jason Aaron on it (that would be AWESOME).

  9. i agree arron would be awesome. i think brubaker and azzerello could do it too.

  10. Again, this is the best book of the week! Why has it never been POW WHY!!!! Ifanboys hold your head in shame! Too busy reading JSA or some other crap!
