Anyone reading these for the first time you’re in for some awesome shit, Milonogiannis is immense!
Yes, this is totally awesome in every regard. If you were even mildly interested in the first trade, then this is worth picking up. A lot more of a storyline, great art. I personally find this to be a mind-blowing series. And it was nominated for Eisner’s. No I’m not being paid by anyone associated with this series 🙂 I just REALLY like it.
Buy this! Actually, buy two and give one to a friend.
It’s seemed like forever since the first trade came out. Not really complaining, for a book this good I can wait, I’m just terrible at deciding what to read in trade and what to read in issues. I always end up trade waiting the stuff that seems to take ages to come out.
This one tends to get delayed in issues as well. The art is really far out and expansive and supposedly these dudes do a lot of drugs when making this book from what I gather which I think is why it get’s delayed as often as it does. Image has been really good about getting trades out in a timely manner but it can be hard when the single issues get delayed.
I met these guys at ECCC. I think they were on drugs there too.
I bought this trade at my LCBS last week. Weird.
I believe this is the digital version.
