  1. One of the best series going & I am loving it!!!

  2. Read the vol 1 TPB from the library, & immediately hunted down all the back issues. This has got to be my favorite book of the last few years now! Dense, imaginative, & unlike anything else on the stands. The only hard part will be waiting monthly from here on…

    • Ye this title seems to be a great example of showcasing the power of the TPB. I’ve heard so many people jumping on after reading it and it seems to be slowly building a fanbase. It’ was my favourite series of 2012 and it deserves a much bigger audience than it has.

    • Basically it’s the FUCKING BOMB!

    • I did the same thing. It’s not my #1 book, but there’s absolutely nothing like it on the shelves. Top notch sci-fi.

    • @microwave25 – Cool, that’s good to hear that it’s building a readership. I saw where low sales forced the dollar increase a while back, so I was afraid that after falling in love with it, it might be cancelled. It’s a challenging series, no doubt, but if you can invest, I don’t think there’s anything that compares. And it’s a testament to see how many people stayed loyal, even with the price increase. The amount of content, story, & deep character emotion in each ish definitely warrants $4.

      @Riley – Basically, I FUCKING AGREE!

    • Read the first issue of the relaunch. Didn’t get it. Read the trade. Had mind blown. Love this book now.

  3. I was wondering if or how the johns were going to connect at any point, but was totally okay with taking each john’s story as it was told.

    I think this is turning into (or always was) one of those titles that rewards you for the long haul and as a pretty staunch trade-waiter it’s the only thing pulling me into a real comic shop on the regular.

    Oh, and can’t wait to see if Rein-East and Diehard fall in love…
