  1. double you, tee, eff. i might even buy it.

  2. My girlfriend is hella excited for this. I’m thinking it could be pretty great. Love the cosmo cover. Just makes a lot of sense.

  3. I’m also picking up a copy for my GF, who is a huge Austen fan.  Now, if there were a comic books of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies

  4. I might get this if my wife’s into it. Austen’s P & P is a masterpiece from wjhat I understand. A subversive commentary on social classes and whatnot.

  5. Whoa, the solcit says this is by a graphic designer! I’m totally in!

  6. between this and wizard of oz, i am able to get my wife reading comics. i don’t think she will be reading batman anytime soon but she loves these.

  7. I second the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. And of course we’d need Kirkman to do the writing.

  8. My wife and I read a preview, then promptly unpulled this. Not for us.

  9. So the characters of this comic book are only humans not Superheroes, Aliens, Tranforming Living Robots, or American Soldiers on a mission to took out an Evil Army Organization that’s just plain boring no way am I gonna buy this comic book ever not a never ever.

  10. I didn’t find this in 3 stores.  Anyone else have that problem?

  11. I haven’t gotten to pick up my books yet, but I haven’t heard a single good thing about it yet.

  12. Average rating 8?

  13. Any thoughts on this book?  Mine’s not in until next Wednesday.  Anyone read it yet?

  14. @KickAss – It was alright. The story is not meant for a monthly comic format though. I’m thinking about waiting until they collect (if they do) and reading it straight through.

  15. 3.99 is too much MARVEL esp. when the trade is prob. only gonna be 14.99!

  16. LOL everyone is buying this for the wives / GF’s. maybe Marvel is on to soemthing.

  17. Read this very late.

But it was excellent.  The execution on every level was perfect, especially for fans of this story.  My girlfriend loved it, as did I.  The pacing, dialogue, art and colors all worked fantastically.  Essentially, it’s a spot on adaptation as of issue #1.
