  1. I think I’m gonna start reading this in trade.

  2. @s1lentslyer: i stopped buy it in trade when the new volume started. i have regretted it never since. i messed up the row of trade in my book shelf now

  3. @edward, same here, this way I don’t have to double-dip.

  4. @s1lentslayer  @edward  @s1lentslayer  volume one when it was from image i traded in hard cover form the $30 ones, icon i got all the issues and the variants liten to bendis tapes its worth listening to about powers

  5. @rottenjorge: any particular episode stick out as being expecially Powers-heavy?

  6. @davidtobin100  i say start from the first hardcover its worth it

  7. I used to love love love Powers.  I still haven’t read issue 30 from the last series and I have the first 3 issues from this run, but I am just so burnt out from Marvel/Bendis/3.99/endless delays that I just don’t care anymore.  I think the monumental delays were really what did it for me.  And I read that Bendis wasn’t even writing the issues, MAO was, is that true?

  8. Dang it! I accidentally bought #6 again instead of #7. Maybe they’ll let me trade it next week…

  9. @rottenjorge: i can’t do it, mate, i can’t pay for comics twice. i have other shuff to buy and bills to pay

  10. Very disapointing issue, and even quite possibly the worst issue of powers I’ve ever read. The beginning was fine, but the interogations just dragged, and Deena seemed off both in dialogue and in art. I wish Bendis would go back to flat out writing it again. Oeming is a fine writer, but he’s not the voice of this book, and his experimental layouts have been disrupting the flow lately as well.
