POWER MAN AND IRON FIST #1 (OF 5)

Charging from the pages of SHADOWLAND comes the collector’s item first ever POWER MAN & IRON FIST #1! When Danny Rand transformed his multinational corporation into a non-profit foundation, he thought he had left fighting behind – but with so many innocents wrongly convicted, the battle never ends! Their first case is Luke Cage and Danny Rand’s former secretary Jennie Royce, imprisoned for a murder she didn’t commit…or did she? And Iron Fist isn’t fighting alone — he’s got a new partner with him: Victor Alvarez, the all-new Power Man, he of the exploding punches – and exploding temper! Can Danny train his new charge well enough to face returning foil El Aguila as well as new threats Don Pagliacci, the Commedia Dell’Morte, and the beautiful, deadly Noir? That’s right, Marvel’s original mismatched action duo begins a new era of greatness right here!

  1. This seems right up Van Lente’s alley.  If they can promise the return of Montenegro, the mountain climbing-themed villain, then I’m in.

  2. I’m really looking forward to this. Just wish it was an ongoing rather than a mini.

  3. I have a strong feeling that this will be the next Taskmaster type of mini from Van Lente (ie–incredible; and a massive shame that it isnt an ongoing!!)

  4. More realistic being a mini.

People would have just had their hearts broken if it was an ongoing.

  5. Been looking forward to this since the Power Man mini in shadowland.

  6. I wasn’t gonna pick this up, but then I flipped through the first few pages in the store and who should I see but…. DON OF THE DEAD! The greatest supervillain created in the last hundred years! Needless to say, I picked it up and was pleased. Most pleased.

  7. OH! I’ve got the pitch for the next Marvel/DC crossover!

Don of the Dead vs. Lord Death-Man! Guest starring Deadman and Dead Girl! And in the back-up story, Colleen Coover presents Death herself out on a date with the Black Racer!

  8. Van Lente is a guy that I need to read more of; I’ve liked everything I’ve read of his and this is no different.
