  1. The first issue was great, I enjoyed it way more than I expected. It’s funny, but I didn’t know how much I wanted to read a Popeye comic, until I read a Popeye comic (if that makes sense). I hope more people give this a shot, it’s also great book to read with–or lend to–your kids/younger relatives. I also showed this to my old man, and he got a kick out of it too; he said it was just how he remembered Popeye.

    I still need to read the first issue, but the preview looked great.
