I would let a DAMN DIRTY APE put his/her paws on me for this comic
This is one of the comics I really look forward to.
They’re really hitting this one out of the park. I think it would be daunting to write a Planet of the Apes story in this day and age, what with the epic quality of the original movies and the shoddy/shaky quality of more recent entries. Anything Ape will always be compared to the original. I’ve never read any of the earlier comics so have no idea how this book stacks up against them. But, so far, Boom!’s “Planet of the Apes” has been blessed with a well-crafted story that combines mystery, thriller, and political intrigue with exceptional art work. I’ve been buying the variant covers of this one … may have to pick this up in hard cover as well.
