PENGUIN: PAIN AND PREJUDICE #3 (OF 5)

In the third issue of best-selling novelist Gregg Hurwitz’s PENGUIN: PAIN AND PREJUDICE miniseries, the Penguin has a new girlfriend! But his new relationship is just an excuse for bigger heists and more vicious crimes, all to obtain gifts for his loved ones!

And the flashier the crime, the more easily it catches Batman’s eye. With The Dark Knight hot on his trail, will the Penguin back away from his life of crime – or will he continue his push to take over Gotham City’s criminal underworld?

  1. Probably going to be depressing, but I’m looking forward to it!

  2. I also looking forward to this! Great series!

  3. I loved the first two. Batman’s villains are so interesting.

  4. The best comic out there, bar none…story engaging, really puts you in the villain’s head…art is moody and effective. What does it say about me when my two favorite books (Penguin: Pain and Prejudice and Red Skull: Incarnate) are about villains?

  5. The art is excellent. The Penguin looks so much more fearsome here than in recent work like Gates of Gotham for instance.

I enjoy how the story is written. No snarky humor or over written dialogue. High quality.

  6. This gets a 4.5 from me and I probably should just make it a 5; there was nothing wrong witht this issue and the continued building of The Penguin in these pages has been exquised!! I agree wih everyone else the artwork in this book is just breath takingly good. I can’t wait to see what happens with this new relationship for Pengie….. this will probably be his braking point I get the feeling! Till next month…
