Not that I’d buy it if it were, but this isn’t the Doomsday crossover? I’m off the book as long as DiDio’s on it, and Doomsday isn’t much of a draw for me, so I’m just wondering if the book is delayed at the moment or what. Lord this book is really suffering a looooooooonnnnnnnnngggggg drawn out painful death.
@PhantomPhrenemy Next issue is the Doomsday crossover. And this title is dead with issue #40, due out May 18th. However, the last issue is being retitled BATMAN AND THE OUTSIDERS (again) so maybe they’re laying the groundwork for another relaunch.
I welcome the re-re-rebranding, as long as that includes a new writer. I like DiDio, but I don’t like his writing. Maybe the “Batman” will be Dick Grayson? Back on his old team, works for me.
This book had so much promise coming out of Batman: Reborn. Shame it sank like a stone.
