NORTHLANDERS #43

The decades-spanning crime drama “The Icelandic Trilogy” continues with part two of nine. Young Ulf Hauksson is growing up into the enforcer his father needs, but at a truly terrible cost. As his father hesitates, Ulf only sees opportunity – and the settler community at large feels the effects.

  1. I think this is the book I’m looking forward to the most.

  2. Really? I was a let down by last issue. Still have high hopes for is story as it has a cool premise.

  3. Hopefully this issue will make more sense than the last one.

  4. I was a little underwhelmed by last issue too, especially when compared to those two fantastic stand alone stories in the previous two issues. But I’m sure it will pick up over the next few months as the trilogy continues. Wood hasn’t let me down for this title yet.

  5. Thor’s Daughter was one of my favorite Northlanders of the whole series but the last issue was very unexpected and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next. This and American Vampire are at the top of my stack!

  6. It certainty didn’t make me feel good but this was a really wonderfully written book.
