NO PLACE LIKE HOME #1

“HOME AGAIN”

Dee’s life is in turmoil when her parents are killed in a freak tornado. Returning to Kansas for the funeral after five years in LA, Dee discovers Emeraldsville is the same unexciting place it was when she left – until the bizarre unexplained murders begin.

With an unknown killer closing in, the events of one night in 1959 begin to unravel as a portal to a world of horror opens, a portal paved with yellow bricks…

  9. Image #1s are usual picks, but one written by the owner of one of my locals was a no-brainer.

Well done, Angelo–it’s a terrific book, a solid entry issue with a bunch of characters I can’t wait to see more from. Then again, I’m a sucker for kick-ass women in comics.

Equal props for the art. For an unknown quantity, it’s genuinely terrific quality, and way better than I was hoping for. Yanick Paquette, look out.
