I have neve read new mutants before this book got soft rebooted but I am really liking it.
started with regenesis its been really good so far, deserves more pulls
I too started with issue 33. I picked this series up for the Blink appearance and stayed for the awesome character moments, slick action scenes and the hilarious comedy. Warlock may be the funniest X-man.

I say this every time this book is released: more people should be reading this.
I liked this book, and it was cool to see Doug get some character progression as a result of this story. And since it’s a story about a guy with the mutant ability to understand languages and meaning… I guess it follows that were a WHOLE crap-ton of words in this book. Fernandez did his best to keep the fight scenes interesting, but the heavy dialogue and narration (not bad, just dense) made this book kind of a slog. But I like where it left the characters, so as much as it still surprises me, I’m sticking with New Mutants.
And it looks like another fun done-in-one (a la the Date With Mephisto) is on deck! Yay comics!
