  1. Same week as part 1, huh? Guess you got to commit now! (Or read part of 1 in the store, I guess). Those of us buying via DBCS committed long ago…

  2. Marketing ploy or accident?

  3. i’m glad there’s two parts in one day. I’m sticking around to see the basilisk and Magneet-holy.

  4. This has been way better than I expected.

  5. I’m almost certain Legacy is late, hence the doubling up.

  6. Nice. I can skip most of the X-Men related comics for the next month or so. Zeb Wells and Leonard Kirk were doing some amazing work before this crossover. I’ll wait till it’s done to jump back on. Money in my pocket.

  7. Legacy has been coming out the same week as Uncanny for months now, so I don’t think it’s late. not sure about this book because I’m only on for the crossover.

  8. Not as good as part 1, but still good. As much as I enjoyed reading them back to back I don’t love having to wait a whole month for part three.

  9. Not loving this. If I wasn’t curious on where they were going I would have dropped this. I just don’t connect with the characters and I don’t really know who some are. This is a time I would like to see the whole name and power narration block when a new character appears in the panel to establish who is who.

  10. @gkb444

Part of the fun of something like this is figuring out who’s who and what their alternate status quo is. It’s a double edged sword, it has to play that way for people with at least some familiarity with the property, but it can leave new readers a bit lost.

  11. I am really liking this so far.  Good stuff.

  12. Alpha was a mess, but these first two ‘real’ issues have been very good. Nice mystery. Is Magneto a straight up villain or is he actually protecting people by hiding things? And who is sending in fodder to be killed with fake dogtags? I like the mystery game of figuring out who is who, but then I have read a lot of X-men.
