  1. If you like serial tv series such as Macguyver, the A team, Burn Notice, you’ll like this.

If you like done in one stories that tie together to make a big picture, you’ll like this.

If you like crime comics you’ll like this.

If you haven’t tried it yet, please try Near Death….. I think you’ll like this.

    • Agreed. The end of last issue was great!!

    • Yeah, Jay Faerber also writes for television, and writes about how much he loves 70’s and 80’s crime shows and I think that it really shows in this book, in a good way. This has a very similar vibe to Stumptown (which is also reminiscent of the Rockford Files). I love this book, the attention to detail, and the extra stories and essays at the back. I definitely get my money’s worth.

  2. These Tomm Coker covers are awesome and are probably the big reason I gave this book my initial attention. We’re getting Francesco Francavilla covers on issues in the near future too. Quality stuff.

  3. This is one of my favorite new series! Loved the cliffhanger at the end of last issue!

  4. Really liked this issues, still not the biggest fan of the art though.
I love how it managed to pull in aspects from almost all previous stories without feeling confusing or gimmicky.
Very much had the feel of a good TV season finale.
    Can’t wait for more.
