  1. #1 was great!

  2. Yeah, I’m dead excited for this to continue.

  3. I can’t remember the last time I disagreed with the rest of the iFanbase so strongly.

  4. I loved the first issue. Just a great package and a good enticement to continue with it. I’m not a big Steve Niles fan, honestly, but I found his writing was top notch last ish. Excited to see where this goes. Really like that cover too.

  5. super excited for this. I have a feeling my POTW will come down to this or Bulletproof Coffin, as both of those #1s were POTW.

  6. Avatar photo Paul Montgomery (@fuzzytypewriter) says:

I love love love love love this book. It has everything you could possibly want and the art is spectacular.

  7. Oh man! This was just so much fun! Fiona Staples continues to deliver some of the coolest art I’ve seen in a long time. I love the quirkiness and the "Yes, we know this is ridiculous." Also, I’m a sucker for clunky robots. (Tik Tok from Return to Oz, for example.)

  8. Oh. Just decided this was my POTW.

  9. i love this series. The cover isn’t as strong as issue #1 but still good. I’m also loving the interior art…i love how its raw pencils and no inks. Its got a great feel. its setting up to be my favorite new series.

Wasn’t there a Verne type Character kinda sorta in Hellboy 2?

  10. holy wow this was such a fun issue!

  11. I found the dialogue to be a little hackneyed this issue. I did love the first issue, but the dialogue this time round just didn’t have the same spark. I still like the ideas behind it, though.
