  1. What about this cover? As always I don’t know what to expect from this series.

  2. From the thumb-nail I thought that they’d accidentally used the wrong cover. Excellent!

  3. Avatar photo P2 (@maudblog) says:

Pretty sure Nick Spencer has said this book starts a new phase for the series.

    • That is true. This one is also 36 pages for 2.99. Hope you like it.

    • I read this issue before reading this comment… towards the end I found myself checking the cover price and thinking, “this feels weird, getting a great story with extra content at a low price without huge delays.” So you see? This gimmick of giving the fans quality and quantity is just taking us out of the story!

But in all honesty, this book is like the anti-Marvel for me right now in the best possible way. Original ideas without gouging my wallet at every opportunity.

  4. I still have no idea what’s happening in this book – but I can’t stop reading it!! (And genuinely enjoying it.)

  5. The Truants are awesome! I saw the cover and was skeptical that this new group would get me invested emotionally in there story, but in the space of an issue Nick Spencer managed to do just that. The one thing that sticks out is when Lara Hodge mirrors the phrase “At least you got to say goodbye” to Vanessa when Vanessa says that about her herself as they depart the old school making me wonder how much does Lara know?

  6. Continues to amaze and bewilder me in equal measure.

    GREAT stuff.

  7. Amazing issue as always! Totally loving Irina 😀
