MEN OF WAR #2

In the split second after a heavy-weapons blast the air goes silent and still, just as it does in the ghostly realm of Circe. How will Rock and his team of men – battle-hardened, but still human – survive a villainess who can walk on the very wind?

Plus, Navy Seals Ice and Tracker go where no boots are on the ground, but when their mission is compromised, how will they tell friend from foe?

  1. Please be good! I had high hopes for this book they were not destoyed in the first book, but I saw the fauls in it.

  2. I’m giving this one more issue to grab me, otherwise I’m out.

  3. I really liked the first issue and the preview looks (pardon the the pun) rock solid. I have a feeling this one isn’t going to make it, but hopefully it’ll make up for it in trade!

  4. The first issue surprised me (in a good way), so I’m willing to give it at least till this issue to wow me into pulling it every month. We’ll have to see though, that 3.99 price point….and so many other books…..

  5. I’m still really liking the main story and really hating the backup.

  6. I second that. The backup isn’t so much bad as it is just a generic military story. The Rock feature is really damn good though.

  7. I think this book would do good to put the meta element was a bit more in the background, and focus on cool modern versions of characters like Unknown Soldier and Haunted Tank. I actually liked the back-up because it seems to be gradually going for that.
