  1. I like the way this series ends but getting there is a bunch of nonsense. The purpose of the monoliths is revealed but it’s a flimsy idea at best. Also why do I get the sense that the purpose here is to deliver the message that meeting the needs of the individual is the best way to serve humanity? My Ayn Rand alarm just went off.
