MACHINE MAN IS BACK! Zombies of the multiverse, watch your rotting backs! To obtain a cure for the zombie virus for Morbius the Living Vampire, Aaron Stack, Agent of ARMOR, must traverse alternate realities hunting down the plague in all its myriad forms…with a most unusual (but somehow oddly appropriate) partner! First up: in the Alterniverse known as “The Territory,” the Old West never died. But when the greatest gunslingers of Marveldom — Two-Gun Kid, Phantom Rider, Kid Colt, and many others — rise from their graves in Boot Hill, the stage is set for a High Noon showdown with flesh-eating outlaws the likes of which you’ve never seen! Saddle up and ride into the tale we had to call “THE DEAD AND THE QUICK!”

Waiting for trade on this, but I say this could surprise a lot of people.
Ignore the sucking of money with this franchise and enjoy it as is. Van Lente did a great Machine Man in MZ3 and he’s going to continue it here. If there is a man that could do a NEXTWAVE revival instead of Ellis, I’d say Van Lente is the way to go.
I just cant stop buying this franchise. I guess as a dead head and Marvel Zombie I dont get much of a choice.
Seems like a good one to read in the store.
Technically this is #6 in the series, since Return was the 5th installment.
I skipped the last Marvel Zombie thing, but Van Lente doing the whole series gets me back.
Oh good lord.
I’m sorry I did flip this in the store and….my god Lente is a genius for putting this character to help Machine Man. I won’t say who it is……But let’s just say Jimski would love it. 😉
Reading this issue made me … sleepy.
@TNC: I liked everything but his "backup". That was used for a cheap laugh. I didn’t care for the next world either but loved everything up until then.
