Second to last issue. Good cover.
Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Sad to see this go, but my wallet is relieved
I had no idea this was being cancelled. I’ve been too comfortable under my rock.

The solicit sounds alot more interesting then what actually occurred. I guess the original story got scrapped when they decided to cancel Manhunter, and they had to cook up a quick 2-part story. Perhaps why there was a guest artist.
Also wondering, is Sweeny Todd an established comic villian? Or did Andryko create him?
I think Sweeney’s an Andreyko creation. He came out in issue 20 something.
I was disapointed in this issue.
This issue, although a good issue, disappointed me that it jumped to the future. This always makes me think there’s no stories to tell in between when we know there are, but I think they’re doing this since this is the last story arc for the run. Maybe they’ll fill in the gaps if we ever get more of it again.
Marc said he did this due to a short notice on the cancellation. He wanted to tell the abortion clinic story that the previous cancellation had left off but couldn’t tell it in two issues. Rather than cram he switced gears.
A reviewer at Line of Fire observed that this story was an excellent tactic to protect his characters. They now can’t be killed off if the publisher plays "by the rules".
