MADAME XANADU #21

Madame Xanadu and her stark, raving mad sister Morgana are still at odds, leaving 1950s housewife Betty Reynolds more distraught – and more inhuman – than ever. And Mr. Jones continues his “negotiations” with the New York mob in an effort to aid and abet Madame Xanadu’s investigation.

  1. I hope this gets back to the magic ‘Mad Men’ feel this book had when this story started, because it was awesome.

  2. You know what is awesome that won’t be the same in trade? Those covers. Wowza.

  3. If the cover is any indication Mike, that’s exactly what we’re going to get.  Should be good, when we left her the wimp was buried in her house crying. More Morganna please!

  4. I love this book. How do we get more people to give it a try?!?!

  5. I thought this was one of the strongest issues yet.  Mood, mystery, Xanadu actually doing things, being pro-active.

I wish she was Mademoiselle Xanadu…her teenage appearance doesn’t mesh with "Madame".

@Stromtrooper – no idea.  I just keep hoping that this book is a big trade paperback draw.  The paucity of ifanboys pulling this book is sad…when I see the titles that are beating this I shake my head.

  6. I have a theory that this ‘mr. Jones’ who appears in this is none other than a Martian name J’onn J’onnz

  7. AH…THATS who it is!  Thanks mikeandzod21, I felt like everyone knew but me.
