  1. One of my favorite series, so excited for this issue!

  2. Yeah this serried is in my top 5, I’m reading so of his prose right now and it’s also good. Talented author.

  3. This seems like a really fast turnaround between issues this time.

  4. @Peterparker18102:  I’ve read his "Heart-Shaped Box" novel which I thought was pretty good, not nearly as captivating as the Locke & Key stuff.  Have you read his newer novel "Horns"?  I have been waiting for that in paperback.

  5. This is one of the greatest comics of all time. There, I’ve said it.

  6. @texas no I am reading HSB but I hear good things about horns

  7. HORNS is an excellent book! I have to reread it- the first time I read it, I was having so much fun i whisked through it and probably missed some of the subtleties. Loved HSB too, but I’d have to say HORNS was better. Check out his book of short stories, too.

  8. I just picked up Heart Shaped Box from my local bookstore. Looking forward to it. This series is absolutely one of the best things happening in comics right now. Always worth the wait, but glad this one came out so quickly!

  9. @hail I plan on reading horns, just need to wittle down my to read pile first

  10. Hands down one of the top series of the decade. I wish more people would read it.

  11. The end of the last series was just amazing, these first issues always seem to be stunners as well.

  12. What an awesome issue.  Really enjoyed they way each page was layed out as well as Bodes’ Calvin and Hobbes look when he was playing.  POTW for this guy, no doubt.  Seeing that there’s only 18 issues left (on the top of the cover)made me kinda sad, but also pumped me up since there will be answers and long awaited confrontations coming much sooner than I thought.

  13. @Texas: I agree with @HailScott. I read both books and Horns is better than HSB. Both are good books though.

  14. I will be getting these bound when the book wraps up. It’s a great gateway book too. I’ve got 2 people into comics by lending the first arc to them.

  15. Reading it in trade but a great series. Can’t wait to get the new one just released!

  16. This was one of the best issues of the series so far.  There was some genuinely funny moments here, the art is possibly even better which it has always been outstanding, and the tribute to Bill Waterson was brilliantly executed.

  17. layouts in this issue are genius. mindblowing brilliant.

  18. This is as always one of my absolute top series. Does anyone know if there are going to be a finite number of arcs or does Hill plan to keep the seriens going iindefinitely.
