    Been considering dropping this. Last issue was so good, though, that I’ll give this a shot.

    Why can’t Cinar finish a complete issue?  I’d rather he alternated issues than have "supporting artists" almost every issue.

     Anyone know if there’s a Legion Academy back-up this issue?  Loved the last one!

    @zattaric: I think a big part of the problem is that there’s usually 30 story pages an issue. That’s a pretty big work load. My hope is that when the book drops down to 20-22 pages come 2011 that we’ll get an entire issue from Cinar again. That said, Portela’s no slouch either. I’m beginning to like his pages just as much as Cinar’s.

    I like Portela’s work better. Actually, I think the book would look better if Cinar did layouts and Portela finished the artwork.

    But the storytelling hasn’t been exactly grade A either. Once Levitz gets past the loose ends left by Johns, I think the book will be in much better shape. The Karate Kid plot introduced last issue was a good step in the right direction.

     Legion Academy returns in 3 months in the pages of Adventure Comics — same creative team.
