LEGION OF MONSTERS #1 (OF 4)

A monster adventure to scream over!

Elsa Bloodstone hates monsters – and when the trail of a mysterious serial killer leads to their underground city, Elsa’s ready to kick some horrific butt. Morbius the Living Vampire, Werewolf by Night, the Living Mummy and the slithery Manphibian have news for her, though; the monsters are innocent, and the real killer is out there…a creature so terrifying and vicious that even monsters are scared to death! Elsa Bloodstone and the Legion of Monsters are on the case!

  1. Pros and Cons on getting this…

Pros – Juan Doe’s art, Monsters!!!
    Cons – price point

Can anyone sell me on this?

  2. Hopefully there will be a few of these kinda books coming out now that halloween is almost here. I <3 universal monsters and stupid, fun, horror books

  3. This could be really cool. Kind of where Franken-Castle left off with a couple of these characters. I’m hoping to love it.

  4. I was sold the moment I saw that the interriors would look like the cover.

  5. Solid read, great set up issue.

bad on the price. great on the art.

I’m in for the rest of the series!

    • The art I saw just wasn’t worth 3.99 to me. For 3.99 it needed to be mind-blowing, but just looked kinda cartoony. I thought Juan Doe used to make awesome covers, am I right?

  6. Is this Elsa from Nextwave?

  7. Dennis Hopeless used to work at my LCS so I picked this up to show a little support. I thought it was a great read and I’m loving the art. Though the 3.99 price point hurts.

  8. Really liked the fun atmosphere and Doe’s art was great.
I better start now looking for loose change in my sofa and car for issue #2. Ouch…$3.99? Really!?! For a low profile mini?

  9. Solid 3. Art was 5/5 though.
