  1. To borrow a joke from Ron, I think I’m going to cull this book with this Culling arc. I REALLY. REALLY wanted to enjoy this book, but after a while it became a chore. I like the art team. the book IS pretty. Good comic-booking.The concept was pretty cool. But nine issues in and they really haven’t done anything. So, I’ll say good-bye for now. I’ll keep my eye on the book; maybe it’ll turn around. But for now. it’s CULLED!

    • I’m really enjoying the art on this too

    • I was hoping when Defalco took over we’d get some old school comic fun; instead we get them still chasing the same damn guy!

    • I’ve only read the first issue and 7-8 so I don’t know cause 7 was a one and done and 8 was the beginning of the cross-over I was skeptical about continuing to read this but then 8 had that Rose Wilson cover which really appealed, of the books involved in the “culling” I feel like this has the strongest art anyway

    • Oh, this IS the best series with the best art. Booth [ the artist on Titans ] is a dinosaur, a relic from the 90s. His art hasn’t evolved and to ME looks HORRIBLE.

  2. Hopefully this won’t be a chore to read since I’m skipping Superboy.

  3. I’m trying to decide if I need this book to understand the story I usual just read Titans and Superboy.

  4. Not digging the cross-over and ALL the cross-overs in DC.

  5. Oh nose! They’re not still chasing Allist’r or whatever his lameass name is. Geez louise!!! Good cast, pretty art, and monotonous, boring stories? No! Even though I kinda liked the first issue — I suspect it had more to do with the characters and the art. Overall, the stories have been very wanting.

  6. Avatar photo consafo80 (@consafo80) says:

I was going to pick this up along with Superboy because of The Culling but both my local comic stores where sold out.

  7. Passed. Looking forward to the next issue, though. Not into the X-over at all.
