KICK-ASS 2 #3

The sequel to the New York Times best-selling comic – which spawned the hit movie – continues! By putting on his now-famous green costume and dishing out his own brand of vigilante justice on street thugs and mob bosses alike, high school loser Dave Lizewski changed the world.

Now, after a successful first mission with his new team of self-proclaimed ‘super heroes’ – JUSTICE FOREVER – Dave and his crew start to understand what living in this new world really means.

Plus, the return of Kick-Ass’s arch-nemesis THE RED MIST, and things come to a head for HIT-GIRL!

  1. I’m having fun with this. The art is great and there’s always something truly horrific to witness.

  2. Indeed, though not as horrific as Crossed. Just the capricious schedule I could do without. Perhaps the plot’ll come back to me when i set upon reading it.

  3. Finally! Stuff happens! This was a pretty good issue.

I just wish Mark Millar would stop spending all of his time making himself look like the greatest comic creator in the world (He’s NOT), and actually write comics so that we can actually get something on a schedule of at least every-OTHER-month.

Yeah, that’s right, Millar. You have to WORK to be good at something.

Only Alan Moore is allowed to take as much time as he needs, because his work BLOWS MINDS.

  4. Whether it is Millar, John Byrne, or Alan Moore, I mostly ignore there personal blatherings and instead just try to like/not like them based on their work.

I agree, this was a damn fine issue! Gave me all the bits I like best of Kick Ass. The Red Mist and Hit Girl subplots were great.

  5. This issue was amazing !! I havent felt anything like that reading a comic in over a year !
