It saddens me greatly to be so put off by Williams art every month that I can’t decipher if I like the story or not! There are three things keeping me on this title:
(1) the Liberty Belle / Hourman second feature with its more classic styled art and great monthly mystery cliff-hangers
(2) Sandy’s subplot and moments
(3) I don’t want to loose track of characters like Power Girl, Stargirl, and Wildcat Jr.
I’m conflicted as well, but I think I’m bowing out after this issue.
As much as I want to enjoy two differed Society teams, this one just isn’t hacking it. I think I’ve come to the realization that Sturges’ super-hero stuff just isn’t for me, and I already knew that Williams’ stuff wasn’t.
If they ever get a new artist, I may jump back on though, as I’m a glutton for punishment.
