  1. As much as I love Alan Davis and classic Thor epic stories, I think I’m done. Fraction using the words “burn”, “blaze”, or “flame” on every single page last issue was enough. Looking forward to Jason Aaron and Ribic.

  2. Only reading this, avoiding the Thor portion of this crossover. Anything essential I need to know from the last Thor issue?

    • Well, the recap details it all and the issue reiterates it: Thor fought some Asgardians, Loki legged it, the All-Mother were imprisoned, the Warriors Three drew straws to become King of Asgard with Volstagg winning and Surtur’s accomplice was revealed to be Leah.

Though I really would get the Thor issues. I’ve not been a fan of Fraction’s Thor at all, but this story is really continuous through both titles and you’ll miss the conclusion. The last Thor issue really read like a JiM issue anyway as everything seems to be revolving around finishing Gillen’s story more than anything.

  3. NOOOO! Say it ain’t true Li’l Loki? Say it ain’t true! (It probably isn’t true)
