  1. Thank God the guy that drew last issue is’nt drawing this one.

  2. @Kory  I actually enjoyed the last issue’s art.  The only guy I haven’t liked was a couple issues ago where he made a Jonah look like a 20 year old kid.

  3. I’m glad you liked it, but I almost stopped reading a few pages in because I could’nt tell what the hell was going on.

  4. I’m new to this series and I almost dropped it because of the art last month. How often does the artist change on this book? Cool thing about this book though is that because of the one and done stories I can just glance at the art in the store and decide whether to pick it up or not. Judging by the cover I will be picking up this issue. Man I love western stories.

  5. The artist changes sometimes, though Jordi Bernet has been drawing the majority of the issues for the last year or so.

  6. The artist who drew #36 returns for issue #39 according to DC’s website.  Too bad I have it on my pull list at my shop otherwise I would skip that issue.

  7. last issue had awesome art!

  8. Yeah! I agree bc108, the art in the last issue was awesome. Very … intense & moody? I suck at descriptions & anyways they say writing about art is like dancing about architecture, right? Ah well, I hope that guy (or girl?) comes back onto this book sometime soon.

  9. I love this book in no small part to Jordi Bernet. I liked the art last issue, I wouldn’t want to see it every month but it was interesting.

I heard IDW is going to collect Bernet’s Torpedo 38 series and I can’t wait. It’s an incredibly sleezy and sinister gangster series.

  10. This is hands down the most consistently well done book being published today.  This book cements the idea that I will read anything written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti.
