    • NOOO! This is the first I’ve heard of this series ending 🙁

I’ve absolutely loved this book, which has a great almost-Scooby-Doo vibe to it. The characterization has been superb, and I’m genuinely going to miss reading these characters every month (at least i have a few more months to satisfy this desire).

Also, I can’t speak highly enough of Mike Allred’s art. INCREDIBLE. Even my girlfriend, who doesn’t read comics, has really appreciated the covers (which I make a point of showing her every new issue).

  1. I have liked this series but not been in love with it. The characters are well defined and original but I have never really felt engaged with the wider plot. The series has had some great ideas but not successfully pulled out any great moments. I will definitely give the whole run a read though once its all done though.

I look forward to finding out more about Mike and Laura’s future projects

  2. For as good as Allred is, they have done an exceptional job with the fill-in artists. With This guy Rugg, and the other issue which J. Bone did (I think that is his name, but not 100% sure), there has been no drop off in quality or tone.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I remember one other time that there was a fill-in on art. Hernandez ,I think ,drew one that focused on the blonde ghost girl and that was pretty weak. 2out of 3 aint too bad when you’re covering for someone as talented as Allred.
