I was disappointed in the first issue’s script. One long, half-hearted in-joke that didn’t excite, explain, or charm enough. Here’s hoping the book can step it up. (Norton’s work was surprisingly great and in-the-spirit without being an ape of Allred.)
I hate to say it, but that’s how I felt about the first issue as well.
Norton is one of my top favorites right now, enjoying this, Revival, and started Battlepug which is really cool
Yup, that’s why I’m here, too. I liked this issue considerably better than the first. Hopefully, the writer and artist are just starting to get their groove going working together.
