  1. I’m so glad a new arc is starting with this issue.  The prison planet arc really sucked.  It went in a completely different direction for what made Irredeemable so special.  After reading (and disliking) the last issue, I actually considered dropping the title.

A re-focus on a superhero gone bad, the unique characters (especially Qubit), and the inevitable clash with Cary and the other members of Paradigm can get things back on track.

  2. I haven’t been a fan of this past arc either but I did like last issue, mainly cause it had a lot of good Qubit parts.

  3. I have not picked up the last couple due to a lack of interest in the whole prison planet story. might jump back on for this. should I go back and get the last 2 or just skip’em?

  4. I liked the prison planet. It had a ton of interesting ideas that mark waid is so good at. But I’m excited to see it end.

  5. Didn’t hate the prison arc but I am glad it has run its course.

  6. I completley dropped this and Incorruptible. I’m going to try to jump back on I’ve missed it, hated the prison arc

  7. @gkb444  – Save your money.  #28 may be a good place to pick up based on the iFanboy ratings.

  8. I don’t know how this is rated so high. It’s pretty much back to the status quo: mad Plutonian kills/destroys everything in his path. I thought we were going to see this title evolve.

  9. @AquaPimp82 It’s because Plutonian and his new crew are back, and we get to see what it is Survivor was really up to. This comic reminds me of an early episode of Smodcast where the rapture causes everyone to make deals with anyone, and now that Plutonian has gone mad we get to see all the forces that were once kept in check play themselves out. I just can’t imagine this world can take much more damage.

  10. This was Peter Krause’s last issue. An he’s going to be missed. But with the Baretto’s on from issue 29… can’t wait.

  11. What the fuck? I did not see that coming, this was awesome! It just hit me that Irredeemable is the super hero equivalent of Walking Dead; things look ok and then bad shit happens and everybody’s in danger. GREAT!

  12. Dropped…with great sadness…
