  1. yay!

  2. What issues does this cover? Is there a standard number of issues in each Invincible trade? I’m asking b/c I am thinking of dropping the title, but if I want to jump back on, I want to drop at a point where I can just get the most recent trade to catch up. . .

  3. Okay, so I just got the 5th Ultimate Collection… which takes me up to #59, and I know #60 is the one-issue crossover event… and judging by the cover…. that lines up. So if I get this and vol. 13 I should be bridging the gap to the current issues right? (I started getting the book in issues with #71 & Inv. Returns.)

  4. @Prax

    I believe so.

  5. Hell yeah, this is the only part of Invincible that I have not read yet.

  6. Whew! I had this in my stack at the store, but remembered I randomly pre-ordered it from Amazon. Glad I didn’t make that mistake, but I hope it gets here soon.

  7. Am I missing something? I’m only about 10 pages into the trade and things just keep happening randomly off panel…

    Spoilers…

Like Mark being mistaken for the other Invincibles and then a couple of panels later they’re buddy buddy & Atom Eve getting messed up out of nowhere when Pitt attacks one of the Invincibles.

  8. I have been waiting patiently for this one …. (thumbtwiddle)

  9. @Soma – I think that might’ve been Kirkman playing with super-compressed storytelling. I believe he put that together at the height of Secret Invasion in an effort to do an event comic in just one issue, he played with letting the reader fill in the gaps. It was a little "Morrison-y" if you will, I was reminding of a similiar moments in Final Crisis.
