INVINCIBLE IRON MAN #30

The only thing more shocking than the first three pages are the last three pages! It’s the meeting 30 issues in the making: Tony Stark and Sasha Hammer, at long last, face to face. The gang at Stark Resilient burn the midnight oil against an impossible deadline — but if they don’t get Project Daylight off the ground they’re doomed before they start. They’re not the only one manufacturing their world-changer, though — the Hammer Girls are building an army of drone bombers as air support for Detroit Steel!

  1. We are gonna get some dancing!

    Forget blasting and hitting.

Dancing is the new vogue when it comes to action.

I blame dancing with the stars for this issue, which is a good thing.

  2. I bet the new Iron Man suit does all kinds of crazy, new exciting things. Just imagine. Wow. I mean, seriously, cool stuff will happen… someday… before I die…

  3. I fell asleep reading just reading the solicit.

  4. something needs to happen on this book..FAST..it was going well but now its just a complete bore.

  5. I love the comments of this book. I hope Iron Man never punches anyone ever again so I can keep reading the hilarious comments.

  6. Is the lettering credit correct? Who is that? I also hope that there is some action soon.

  7. I hope the next 3 issues are just Tony Stark and Pepper Potts watching "You’ve Got Mail" while wearing their respective armors.

    no punching ever again

  8.  i still am enjoying iron man, and fraction has been good about giving a good punch at the end of his arcs

  9. @torippu- it usually isn’t correct.  it’s funny because people have been commenting about it in the threads for weeks now.  last week somebody actually commented on "Neurotic Cartoonist"’s skills in a thread somewhere, AFTER reading the book.  it may be a company somebody runs, like Eliopoulos’ Virtual Calligraphy or Starkings’ Comiccraft, but I have yet to see "Neurotic Cartoonist" appear in printed credits.

  10. I bought and just reread the omnibus of this . . .

That first arc is the shit. And the Most Wanted storyline is a monster epic.

    Love this book.

  11. I, for one, am excited for the Iron Man/Dancing with the Stars crossover.

  12. This was great!

  13. It was, but I wish there was no fighting. Getting to watch how annoyed people were with storyline was pretty funny.

  14. @Nicholas lol I kind of agree, but a great issue

  15. Great issue and finally got a bit of what I wanted. Love how they connecting first arc to this arc. In a close race of three 4 star books, this was my favorite of the week.

  16. I must have a defective copy. Neither the fist 3 nor the last 3 pages ae especially shocking.

Other than that, a decent issue and we’re FINALLY getting some hints at the new armor’s capabilities.
