  1. I feel like that this book is very under the radar now. With all the Marvel now stuff killing it and DC swinging and missing. Invincible is at a steady flow. Always has been. When I get my monthly stack I find no matter how much I love Saga, Batman, Watxm etc etc I find Invincible is always my first read.

    • Yeah it hasn’t been knocking it out of the park or anything but it has Ben in a really good place for the last 6-10 issues or so.

    • It’s consistent and far superior to Kirkman’s other title’s right now. It’s not as great as it was for awhile, but it’s still good and enjoyable.

  2. I just started picking up the first Invincible trades. I’ve loved everything I have read. I feel like ranting and raving about its greatness, but I’m probably late to the show

  3. SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…
    SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…SPOILER BUMP…

So … she’s gonna lose the baby, right? We’re all in agreement about that?

    • Honestly, that last panel reminded me (not that it was needed) about one of the key reasons I love Invincible so much. Anything can happen. Kirkman is more than willing to travel into dark territory but this book has never been as nihilistic as Walking Dead. For exeample, the fact that Mark’s parents were actually able to rekindle their relationship was totally unexpected but a such a nice thing to see.

Personally, I’m inclined to believe that it would be too awful to have Eve lose one child after already having had to abort a previous one. I also feel there are better story oppurtunities with Eve being pregnant instead of just depressed (been there, done that).
