  1. Loved the Torch mini (& half of Avengers/Invaders).  I’m in.

  2. Loved the Avengers/Invaders sroty and thought I’d trade wait for Torch but I haven’t gotten my hands on it yet…gonna go back to getting the individual issues with this one.

  3. All.

    Over.

    This.

  4. Because no one demanded it!!

Other than seeing Cap and Namor together, I never understand the love/nostalgia for this ridiculous group whose raison d’etre was resolved 65 years ago.

  5. Damn it!  I was so close to not having to get this book.  And then, Union Jack.  Man, the best part about loving obscure characters was that no one ever used ’em!

  6. Why is Spitfire not on the cover? Martin Sheen is.

  7. Fond fetishistic memories of NEW Invaders makes this tempting, but…

  8. @Urthona- I kind of see what you’re saying but I absolutely love the group…

  9. @Urthona: It has the potential to be Marvel’s JSA. …or VFW.

  10. I totally disagree with Urthona. Just being a super hero team during WWII is enough of a reason to be all over this. The character are all great. What’s not to love?!

That said — Avengers/Invaders was horrible. Dropped Human Torch after one issue. Hopefully with a new writer involved, this will be decent.

  11. Yep, I saw Union Jack and I was in.

The art in this was great.
