As far as I am concerned Rob is the star of this book. I really enjoy the nostalgia of his art. I’m rooting for this book, but I am starting to worry that Kirkman may never make a good book other than Invincible and WD. If he does’t turn this around he might just want to stop trying. Haunt was a disaster and Super Dinosaur is a bad rip-off of Axe Cop.
I really don’t think Kirkman has to prove himself, considering Invincible and Walking Dead have been consistently good for 80+ issues, each.
I am disappointed with Kirkman’s writing in this. And it has my least favorite sci fi trope.. time travel. But I do love looking at liefeld’s art.
